Sea Stars
Sea Stars, really are stars, in the way they exist within the ocean environment. As a keystone species, their role is critically important in helping to hold the ecosystem together.
As you explore the shoreline around Howe Sound or elsewhere, you may be lucky enough to spot one or even more of these beauties. Have you spotted some purple ones? Or perhaps a different colour? What shape or kind is it? Is it healthy and thriving?
What’s your WONDER about these stars of the sea?
