The one place we all call home.

And for life underwater, the ocean is truly their home.

What does this mean?

Here in our backyard, in Átl'ka7tsem/ Howe Sound (part of the Salish Sea), we have seen what meaningful action can look like. With changes to our human behaviour, the work of many environmental advocates, and stronger environmental legislation, life has returned to Howe Sound. From the smallest of creatures up to Sea Lions, Orcas and even the spotting of Humpback Whales; this watershed is healing.
